GHK-Cu — The Beauty Peptide

  • Boosts collagen
  • Tightens skin
  • Improves hair health

Overview

GHK-Cu is a copper tripeptide — glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine complexed with copper(II) — found naturally in human plasma, where its concentration declines with age. Often called the copper peptide, it is supplied as a lyophilised powder in a sealed vial for laboratory and in-vitro research.

PepSource supplies GHK-Cu in 50mg and 100mg vials. Every batch is independently third-party tested for HPLC purity and mass-spectrometry identity, and the certificate of analysis for the batch you receive is published on our lab results page.

Research Focus

GHK-Cu has one of the deeper research bases of any peptide in this catalogue, much of it built by Loren Pickart, who first isolated it in 1973. Published work has examined collagen and elastin synthesis, skin remodelling and wound repair, stimulation of hair follicles, antioxidant activity, and broad modulation of gene expression — studies have reported it shifting the expression of a substantial proportion of human genes toward a younger profile.

Research on GHK-Cu includes human topical studies as well as animal and in-vitro work, which places it on firmer ground than most research peptides.
