Why the intranasal format

Adamax is handled intranasally in research settings, mirroring how its parent compound Semax is delivered. Intranasal administration gives direct nose-to-brain transport along the olfactory and trigeminal nerve pathways, partially bypassing the blood-brain barrier and avoiding the first-pass metabolism that breaks down small peptides taken orally.

Worth noting precisely: that rationale is inherited from the Semax literature, which is overwhelmingly intranasal. No route-of-administration study has been published on Adamax itself.

Research Focus

There are no peer-reviewed studies on Adamax itself. The compound has no PubMed-indexed literature under its own name, and no published animal or human data. Claims about its potency relative to Semax are not supported by published work on the compound.

The design rationale is inference from two well-understood sources: Semax, studied extensively in Russia since the 1980s for its influence on BDNF and NGF expression, cognition and neuroprotection; and adamantane modification, a bulky lipophilic group used in approved drugs such as amantadine and memantine to improve metabolic stability and central nervous system penetration. Sound premises, not results.
